Step-by-Step
- Start an elevated command or powershell prompt.
- Execute “slmgr /dlv” to get information on the current status.
- Execute “dism /online /get-currentedition” to get the current edition, it should be an Evaledition
- Execute “dism /online /set-edition:ServerStandard /productkey:D2N9P-3P6X9-2R39C-7RTCD-MDVJX /accepteula”
- The key in this case is the KMS Client key for Windows Server 2012 R2 and you can get all those keys from

- Restart the server (it will reboot twice)

- On server: enable-psremoting
- On server: Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted
- On server: Set-Item wsman:\localhost\client\trustedhosts * (allows any computer to connect)
- On server: Restart-Service WinRM
- On client: Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted
- On client: Set-Item wsman:\localhost\client\trustedhosts * (allows connections to any server)
- On client: Restart-Service WinRM

Kill a process on remote machine using PowerShell Remoting

demostrate how to kill a process on remote computer. Today when my
colleague asked for it, I revisited this article again and felt we can
do in much better and easy way.
Say if the computers are in a text file called comps.txt, the script follows like this.
